Information On Membership

National Treasures has three types of members: Members of the Board of Directors, general members and supporters: Currently our membership is from SVG, the UK and the USA. Our membership at present is small, but we aim to have members from all over the Diaspora.

Members of the Board of Directors:
A total of five Directors (one of whom is the Executive Director), and an Advisor constitute the Board.

General Members:
Those who signed up as Members are primarily in SVG in that they will be actively involved in the work and activities of National Treasures by volunteering their services, time and expertise; and working along with National Treasures when necessary. One or two persons in the UK and the US have signed up as members and assist or will assist with establishing National Treasures in that part of the world and acting as the contact for the organisation in terms of receiving and disseminating information. They will also assist with signing up of new members.

Supporters:
Our Supporters are committed to the mission of National Treasures, and generally provide support for the work of the organisation.

Members of National Treasures assist in that:

• All types of members pay fees or give donations which help to provide some of the funds needed to operate and carry out the work of National Treasures of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
• Members also can identify sources of information and provide information themselves.
• Members have a role in the promotion of National Treasures: telling others about National Treasures and where possible, taking part in events, functions and activities which we host as part of our mandate to disseminate our findings and to raise funds; this will help to raise the profile of and generate interest in our organisation.
